The working principle of the speakers

Make noise

Basically, the speaker is the final interpreter engine, the opposite of the microphone. The speakers carry electrical signals and convert them back into vibrations to create sound waves. Speaker produces vibrations similar to those produced by a microphone that recorded and encoded on a tape, CD, LP, and others. Traditional speakers do this process using one or more drivers.

Diaphragm

Drivers produce a sound wave to vibrate the flexible cone or diaphragm rapidly. Cone is usually made of paper, plastic or metal, are attached at the bigger end of the suspension. Suspension or surround, is hundreds of flexible material that drives the cone, and the metal frame on the drivers, called basketball.
Tip of the arrow on the cone serves to connect the cone to the voice coil. Coil is didempetkan in basketball by the spider, which is a ring of flexible material. Spider holding coil in position while pushing it to move freely back and so on.

Magnets

Spaker process moving coil, returning to its original position and so on are as follows. Electromagnet is positioned at a constant magnetic field created by a permanent magnet. Both of these magnets, the electromagnets and permanent magnets, interact with each other like two magnets are connected in general. Positive pole of the electromagnet attracted by the negative pole of the permanent magnet field and the negative pole to negative pole of the electromagnet was rejected by the permanent magnets. When the orientation of the poles of an electromagnet exchange, exchange is also the direction and force of attraction. In this way, an alternating current is constantly reversing magnetic drive between the voice coil and permanent magnet. It is this process that drives the coil back and so it goes quickly. As the coil moves, it pushes and pulls the speaker cone. It vibrates the air in front of the speakers, creating sound waves. Electrical audio signal can also be interpreted as a wave. The frequency and amplitude of this wave, which represents the original sound wave, dictates the rate and distance of movement of voice coil. So it can be concluded that the frequency and amplitude of the sound produced by the diaphragm gelombag.

Traditional speakers produce sound by pushing and pulling an electromagnet that attack cones are flexible. Although drivers have basically the same concept, but the size and power that is different. Types of base drivers, among others: woofers, tweeters, and midrange.

Woofers are the biggest drivers of type designed to produce low frequency sounds. Tweeters have units that are smaller and designed to produce the highest frequencies. While the midrange, capable menghasilan frequency range in the middle of the sound spectrum.

To be able to make the waves higher frekuansi, the diaphragm must vibrate faster drivers. It is more difficult with a large cone because it means, the mass of the cone is too great. Therefore, it is difficult to get drivers that small to vibrate slowly enough to produce a sound with a very low frequency.

Electronic crossover on the speaker system

In practice, requires a separation between the electronic speaker woofer electronically with other regions, ie with an active crossover. In this case, there is some cross-over system, the system of two-lane and three jalur.sistem series and parallel.

Two-track system

The use of the simplest electronic speaker system is a two lane or bi-amp system, which could give a satisfactory result. The advantage is the reduction of distortion TIM (transient intermodulation) and can adjust bass and treble independently. Selected intermediate frequency 340 Hz (above the original resonance frequency). It is designed to use a small speaker box. If you use a sub woofer for this kanalbawah, and should be changed below 100 Hz. Resonance frequency to 20-40 Hz larger box, the box was 40-80 Hz, 80 Hz and above a small box.

B1 as a power amplifier power control woofer selected according to our needs. Power woofer SP1 need dilebihkna of power amplifiers, because the feedback system will add a lot of energy supplied to the woofers. For ordinary space power amplifiers suitable Watt 20-30. Should be selected power amplifier suitable for use in low tones and has a large damping factor. SP2 speakers could use any tweeter (tweeter and super tweeter, mid range and tweeters or super tweeters and mid range) by using crossoveraktif konvrnsional separation, which will give satisfactory results. Another option for bi-amp system is the use of a complete speaker in a small box as SP2 and sub woofer for under a separate channel.

Three-lane system

This system is similar to 2-track system, but here the tone was separated by band pass filter. There are several possibilities that could be taken on the speakers. The first choice: SP1 woofer, mid range SP2, SP3 tweeter. Second choice: SP1 sub woofer, mid range SP2, SP3 super tweeter (frequency shift below 100 Hz and above 15 KHz). The third option: a sub woofer SP1, SP2 complete speaker (woofer, mid range, tweeters with passive crossover), SP3 super tweeter. Requirements of equal power amplifier system with 2 lanes. P3 adjustment is done through the auditory system already installed. At first from the ground slowly rotated until the buzz that states adannya oscillation. The optimum adjustment is obtained by playing back a bit from early position.

The most important part speaker

The most important part of the Dynamic Speakers are: cone, suspension, voice coil and magnet.
Changes in the magnetic field inside the speakers will interact with a constant magnetic field which causes the coil to move as a reaction to the presence or absence of current.

Conical part due to the voice coil moves in the air About a move that will form the conical pressure wave. This wave is heard as sound.

sound

To understand how speakers work, we first need to menegrti how the voice (sound) work.
In our ears there is a membrane of skin called the eardrum. When we vibrate the eardrum, brain interpret these vibrations as sound - that's why we hear. Flow changes in air pressure that normally vibrate our eardrums.

An object produces sound when an object vibrates in air (sound can also flows through liquids and solids, but air is the transmission medium when we listen to the speakers). When something vibrates, it moves the air particles around it. These air particles move back to the surrounding air particles, carrying the pulse of vibrations through the air as a traveling disturbance.

To see this works, look at a simple vibrating object - a bell (bell). When we rang a bell, the metal vibrates - flex into and out - quickly. When it is bent out on one side, is pushed out of the surrounding air particles on that side. These air particles then collide with the particles in front, which is also colliding with the particles in front of him and so on in succession.

Bose SoundDock

Good: Bose SoundDock is simple to manufacture and use: attractive design, good sound, other iPod speakers compared, charge the docked iPod, provides basic remote control.
The bad: Expensive, only works with iPods (and iPod Minis) equipped with a docking port.
Conclusion: If you do not mind the high prices and lack of additional inputs, the Bose SoundDock is your iPod into a nice bedroom or office stereo system.
The enormous popularity of the iPod has a craft iPod accessories, including various speakers that turn your iPod to create a band aid. With Apple's blessing, Bose has the world of iPod with a "digital music system" that is developing $ 300 SoundDock stereo speakers for iPods with docking entered work.
Initially only available in white, the SoundDock has since turned black in the cinemas. Speaker (the first two are only compatible with iPod models that do not have a dock connector on the bottom) with adapters for various generations of the iPod. You simply pop the adapter in the SoundDock cradle, plug the power cord, leave your iPod in the docking station, and you're good to go. Even in the little box, which is very easy to eliminate credit card style remote control, which govern your iPod to fast forward and rewind tracks your, volume, and the device (which turns your iPod automatically turns on and recharges the battery when you dock ) is permitted rate.

SoundDock better than we expected. It is easy for a 10-by-18-foot space with our great sound, but stereo separation sound completely until we moved to a position within three meters of the speaker. The sound is also near-field system of small ups and downs expanded definition.
A series of duets between jazz guitarist Charlie Hunter and drummer Bobby Previte come at them in Red Dog CD sounded surprisingly live. Previte bass drum that many kicks and has added finer details of his cymbals' sound to the realism. Hunter plays bass and guitar simultaneously on eight stringed instrument, and the SoundDock presented each note. Bose richly balanced bass goes a long way towards Weight mimic the presence of larger speakers.
Rocking with John Mellencamp's greatest hits once again proved the little system of endurance.

Yes, it is a good home theater system that will provide even more satisfying sound and true stereo separation, but more space than a small SoundDock. If you are considering micro speaker Altec Lansing InMotion set, along with an iPod, a travel-friendly unit for half price ($ 150), Bose plays hard and has a deeper bass and clearer treble.
